They are easy to photograph. :) I am going to transplant one of these, it is too close to the house, now that I know what it is and have looked it up and found the info it. I live in a townhouse and do not have too many places where I can plant things. Probably a good thing, though. :)
xOxSixpence and A Blue Moonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06653475055650433027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2424891441834252479.post-32945353833319602262011-08-30T18:57:51.188-05:002011-08-30T18:57:51.188-05:00What wonderful photos...I love this bush. They are stunning to look at, and the colors are spectacular. If only everything in life was so beautiful. The only way I buy plants are when they are on their last leg, something about giving something a second chance that makes the soul feel good.

I hope you are having a beautiful week. And, I do hope you are having the beautiful weather we are having in Missouri. I can't believe August has been so wonderful; but I'll take it. :) I'm not looking forward to winter; don't care for the extreme cold.xOxSixpence and A Blue Moonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06653475055650433027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2424891441834252479.post-48331091395308649332011-08-30T15:35:35.334-05:002011-08-30T15:35:35.334-05:00hey lady - i dare say your magnificent red lady is...hey lady - i dare say your magnificent red lady is a crepe myrtle, is it not? they are native to louisiana and one of my all time most favorite blooming bush/trees! i grew up with them - climbing their wonderful low hung spreading multiple trunks [trees] - when my youngest grandchild was born i planted a watermelon crepe myrtle tree in his yard for him - the love sunlight and water - mine do, anyway - how wonderful you were able to salvage a magnificent plant - thanks for giving it all that TLC! :)GYPSYWOMANhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03042621041213415958noreply@blogger.com
