Jo, you made me laugh with this one...I can so relate on both ends. I remember my mom's thinking. Now, I think my girls think the same as you. I remember saying, I'll never be my mom when I am a mom. Haha, life comes full circle, I am so my mom. :) So I guess Nietzsche's quote applies to everyone except...mothers. :)
