'Casual Living' - Favorite New Decorating Book

It has been a tough week, my nephew died of a sudden heart attack on Monday. He was far too young to have left this world. Life is full of so much sadness and hurt. I wish everyone could live to be happy, healthy, and old. I wish we lived in a perfect world. :)

I'm trying to think on other things right now, so, I've been looking through a book I purchased last month at Anthropologie. I love looking through this book. Many decorating books decorate my home, some I go through quite often; this one will remain in my reach for a very long time.

 I would love to have this patchwork sofa in my living room, and the painting behind it.

Pottery Barn Bar and Hutch

I’ve always loved and WANTED a bar, even though I do not drink much and I am too much of a control freak to drink very much. I think I like the idea of having a drink more than I actually like drinking. Still, I love the idea of a bar and the looks of one. When I saw this one on the Pottery Barn site, I fell in instant love. I happen to love wood, the warm and earthy look of it is comforting to me. Anyways, I wish I had this one.

I wouldn't mind having that rock wall to go with the bar. :)
