This may be my one and only zucchini for the year. My plants were beautiful, and more blooms than you could count. They just did not produce anything other than this one. And, I think it may be a cross between a yellow squash and a zucchini, not sure. I am still thrilled to have had this one to enjoy, it was delicious! I never fry anything, but thinking this would be the only one, I thought it was time to live a little. I promise you, I enjoyed every single bite. It was really big and I was afraid it would not be good, but boy oh boy was I wrong. I do now have a lot of little ones now growing on the vines??? I fear it is already too cold and late in the season for them to make it to the eating and enjoying stage.
