It's just so weird how one minute I can feel pretty darn good and the next I can't stay on my feet. It's nothing like before I went into the hospital, though. At least now I have a decent day now and then. This past week was a bit annoying, one of things I deal with along with many, many others is fatigue. And I don't mean just tired, I mean the type that puts you horizontal for a while. I have conceded to it because I have learned that I cannot push through it. If I try, I just get sicker and it last longer. Yesterday was one of those days, I gave in and went to bed.
I no longer envy people who have things I want, like a certain house or lots of money. Walking through the grocery store the other day, it occurred to me how it felt like I was sleep walking, watching and envying people who looked like they felt normal.
Thank goodness I discovered meditation! It helps a lot. It helps me sleep a little better, waking up every 15 - 30 minutes all night long is no fun. Meditating does help.
Here's to hoping tomorrow is a wonderful, healthy day.

Baked Quinoa And Chicken Parmesan and New Etsy Items
It was a crazy week last week. I am so ready for the tides to turn. We got up one morning and the pond was empty of water, about an inch left. Fortunately, we caught it in time and was able to save all the fish. We still have no idea where the water went??? We couldn't find where it ran out, no sign of it leaking out anywhere. We took the liner out of the ground washed it and set it on the concrete patio and filled it with water, waited about an hour, not a drop of water leaked out.
After putting it back in the ground and filling it and treating the water, we put the fish back in. Around 10:30 that night I went out to check and our biggest Koi had jumped out and was laying almost on the patio. No movement whatsoever! I picked him up and put him in the water, he started sinking immediately. I picked him back up and held him in the water, talking to him and massaging him for 2 1/2 hours, and finally, his tail moved a tiny bit. I just kept massaging him and talking to him, probably another 30 min. later he moved a fin just slightly. After another two hours on my knees of talking and massaging him, he started moving around a little. He still could not swim without going on his side. But with more work, he started swimming. It was 5:30 a.m. in the morning when I came in the house. Good news, he made it. He is doing great! I couldn't walk after spending the entire night bent over and on my knees, but I sure felt great knowing he made it.
I'm a firm believer that touch and words can heal!

New Items Listed
I was actually looking forward to September. August was an awful month. Everything in the house and outside the house broke. I was all hyped up about September being a turn for the better, only to get up and find the pond was empty this morning. Fortunately, we caught it early enough that as of yet, we have lost no fish. We took the tub out and cleaned it and put some water back in and can find no holes or leaks? Hopefully, this was just a left over from the month of August. I'm tired.

Moments
I captured a moment in time yesterday...this leaf has been hanging from the table umbrella with a single strand of a spider web. It survived a high wind and storm on Friday night. Inspiring and impressive to watch how strong this one strand of a web is.

It's been quite a while since I posted anything. I've been trying to take care of myself and keep my Etsy shop going. Etsy is my source for paying for my prescriptions and doctor's appointments. And now, I'm putting a few dollars back to save enough to buy a car. Not working, I want to be able to buy a car with cash so I don't have a car payment to worry about.
I've been feeling pretty good. I have days...but very thankful for feeling as well as I do. I have a new prescription for my eyes. You cannot miss an application once you start it, It's quite expensive and I want to know that I can have it for 3-4 months since it takes that long to know whether it is going to work.
On to better things, it was a wonderful summer. My kiddos came home in June and it was fantastic having them home. Would love to live close to them.
It is already having the feel of fall outside. Temps are perfect right now. I'm kind of dreading the idea of bringing my plants indoors for the winter. My house is not the best for house plants, no good lighting for plants. I can barely keep them alive until spring. With temps already so cool I'm fearing I may have to bring them inside even earlier than normal. And it is almost time to bring out the soup pot and start making soups and bread again. YAY!!!
I'm very thankful that my Etsy shop has been doing well, sales picked up this year. August has been slow? I'm guessing because of summer ending and everyone getting ready for back to school. Ready for it to pick back up. I think I am spending more on Etsy fees than what I am making, The last couple of months I have been putting some things on Craigslist, which is ok, but what a pain. You spend a lot of time emailing or texting back and forth, and then you never hear from them again. Or, you set up a time and meeting place and they never show. I only sell things I can get in my car and meet with people in a public place. I'm just not comfortable with strangers coming to my home.
Here are a few things I have listed on Etsy lately. Go check them out, you just may find something you cannot live without.:)
