Home Decor: Large Keys, Mid Century Lamps, and Mask

I had a rough couple of weeks with my Sjogren's flare-up. On the plus side of things, I did get some things photographed for Etsy, and some of them listed. On the downside, I have not felt like leaving the house and can't stay up for a long period of time.

Hopefully, this will pass very soon. Though you never, never feel good, you can function when it's not so bad.

I'm posting some things I have listed in my Etsy shop along with some pretty pictures where others have used the same or similar items in their decor.

I hope you enjoy!

Baked Quinoa And Chicken Parmesan and New Etsy Items

It was a crazy week last week. I am so ready for the tides to turn. We got up one morning and the pond was empty of water, about an inch left. Fortunately, we caught it in time and was able to save all the fish. We still have no idea where the water went??? We couldn't find where it ran out, no sign of it leaking out anywhere. We took the liner out of the ground washed it and set it on the concrete patio and filled it with water, waited about an hour, not a drop of water leaked out.

After putting it back in the ground and filling it and treating the water, we put the fish back in. Around 10:30 that night I went out to check and our biggest Koi had jumped out and was laying almost on the patio. No movement whatsoever! I picked him up and put him in the water, he started sinking immediately. I picked him back up and held him in the water, talking to him and massaging him for 2 1/2 hours, and finally, his tail moved a tiny bit. I just kept massaging him and talking to him, probably another 30 min. later he moved a fin just slightly. After another two hours on my knees of talking and massaging him, he started moving around a little. He still could not swim without going on his side. But with more work, he started swimming. It was 5:30 a.m. in the morning when I came in the house. Good news, he made it. He is doing great! I couldn't walk after spending the entire night bent over and on my knees, but I sure felt great knowing he made it.

I'm a firm believer that touch and words can heal!

I found a new recipe that we just love. Click on the link below to get the recipe.
