still round the corner there may wait

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate
And though I oft have passed them by
A day will come at last when I
Shall take the hidden paths that run
West of the Moon, East of the Sun."
--J.R.R. Tolkien

thanks for your kind words. i'm glad you were encouraged by my writing. keep your head up and keep on moving forward! i think we need to continue trying to encourage healthy discussion. i know i have a hard time with that.

I really like what you said about the homeless. I completely agree and have had the blessed opportunity to work with the homeless, and just simply spend time with them.

and i'm glad you liked the poem! it's one of my favorites. and i really like the tolkien rhyme!

Hey, Josh! Thanks. I believe you to be wise beyond your years; and it will serve you well.

As for the homeless, in my opinion, the man/woman on Wall Street is no more valuable than the man/woman sleeping on a park bench. I believe they deserve so much more.

It had rained yesterday morning and my back gate looked neat, I thought. While I was looking at it, the Tolkien quote came to me. I am a quote junkie! I have them stuck and posted all over my house.:)
