a lot of sadness in that story. Past present and future. But the man could move like nobody else. ~rick

Lenore, You're right that it is so very heart breaking. I cried all day. I've always loved him and never believed any of the bad things about him. Btw, are you rested up from your trip? I haven't been around much this week. A family is dying, so even when I have been home I haven't felt much like blogging. I'll catch up soon, darlin'.xoxo

Hi Christina ~ No one will ever replace him, huh. xoxo

Rick, thanks for stopping by. You're so right about that, he could dance like no other person. (If only I could dance that way) Maybe tragedy and greatness go together, at least some of times. He did have a lot of sadness, but I also believe he knew a lot of happiness - at least I hope so.

Bless her heart. I can understand how she feels. I'm getting ready to watch the memorial service again, like I didn't feel enough sorrow today. At least we have his music and videos to watch.

I also watched part of yesterday's ceremony, stayed rather cool until the very last moment with the daughter....!

Ah I watched the memorial last night - hit home then...very sad...he was sooo beautiful as a small boy and teen. Just a dream! People snipe and say others are making a big deal out of this but I don't think we are...he was the best - and as Magic Johnson said, he had the world record for pop star who gave the most to charity...he loved so much and gave so much and so it is fitting that we now celebrate his life and love him back equally, even if he is not about to see it, it will comfort his family...

I've observed a "Media Michael" blackout since his death. It just hurts to much, and makes me feel really old. I'll miss him indeed. He was a Thriller!

I'm sure we all will. Although it will be nice to know that he is in peace.

Very sad esp. for the children.
We will always remember Micheal the King of Pop!

So many fond MJ memories from my childhood. Like that first time that I saw the Thriller video. My friend had the long version on VHS and we watched it over and over and over, then tried to teach ourselves the dance. I think I'll have The Boy add some MJ to the wedding playlist. Rest in peace dear Michael...

No worries that you haven't been in bloggyland much lately my lovely girl. I haven't either, just so much going on. We all have lives outside of this little virtual world and must tend to them sometimes:) I hope you're doing well!
