Anais Nin Quote

...because in both of us there's always movement, renewal, surprises. I have never known stagnation. Not even introspection has been a still experience... ~Anais Nin

(Art is by one of my favorite American Artist, Steve Hanks)

Hello Gail, thanks for the visit. Have lovely New year! xoxo

Steven, Anais Nin is one woman I would love to have been friends with. I love her thoughts. Have a wonderful week! xoxo

Lenore, sounds a whole lot like me as of late.:( My brain has taken a trip to Venus or somewhere out there, and it doesn't want to return. Wishing you a lovely week! xoxo

This Nin quote really resonates with me, Debra. I feel strongly that people never stagnate.

A person may idle in one place for a very long time, and to an outsider it may appear that they are not growing or changing at all... but on the contrary, I believe that our hearts & minds are constantly in a state of flux. It's the very nature of being human.

Nin said it much more poetically, though! That painting (?) is great, btw. It even looks photo-realistic.

I am in complete agreement with you, Anthony. Even when we feel we are stagnant, we are growing.

The artist Steve Hanks is the artist who painted the painting. His paintings do have a photographic appearance to them. Look him up, his art is beautiful.

P.S. I hope you are staying warmer than I am. It is so darn cold here. It's snowing again tonight, like we need more of that stuff. We had a blizzard last weekend, and it is supposed to be worse this weekend. YUK!!! I am ready for spring. I need to see green.:)
