Dream Kitchens

The kitchen is one of my favorite rooms in the house. Growing up, it was where everything good happened - mom and grandma always making delicious food. They were neither one fancy cooks, but they were great cooks. My grandma could make homemade rolls that would melt in your mouth. When company came, everyone gathered in the kitchen. Having a well-stocked and organized kitchen makes cooking easier...and more fun. I found all these kitchens to be one I would love to have, and could feel quite comfortable cooking in.

Wow! I love the rustic, industrial appeal.

I am always a sucker for any room with stone.

This reminds me of a kitchen I saw in Poland, without the fancy range. Love it.

Love the white, though, I proably would have to add color.

Yep, I'm liking this.

Probably my favorite...love that color

Loving the slate and beams. Looks like a fun kitchen to create a delicious meal.

OK, I could live here.

Hello Jo :) Hope you had a beautiful Easter weekend. I'd love to have a new kitchen...I need all new appliances, except for dishwasher. I don't know when it will ever happen, but gonna dream of it. :) Thanks so much for the compliment on the blog. I may actually leave it this way for a while. I like it. :) I hope your experiencing warmer weather on you side of the world, it's only in the high 40's here. :( xOx

Adrielle, I love the second one too. Would love to have some of these floors and counter tops.:) I keep thinking I might try and do the kitchen floor myself, but I always manage to talk myself out of it. When everything goes well, I'm ok, but the second a proplem pops up, total frustration sets in. You're so sweet to give me such a beautiful compliment on my blog. I hate pictures of myself, and I hate the camera, (always have) and always hate displaying them. Going to have to start swimming soon with all this rain, we had so much. It won't be long and we'll be praying for rain. There are flash floods out for the state, just not where I am (at least not yet.) Have a sweet day. xOx

GF, you and me both, love texture, especially stone, rock, slate, wood, etc. Would love to have a stone house, sitting on a Tuscan Hill, or over-looking the Mediterranean Sea. I might as well dream big, right. :) xOx

Jen, thank you for visiting. They really are amazing, so many wonderful ideas out there. :) xOx
