When Frugal Tastes Good

Here while back I made some bite size cookies from a little leftover pie dough that I did not want to throw out. I rolled out the leftover dough very thin, brushed with butter, sprinkled with a little sugar and lots of Cinnamon, topped with some chopped pecans, slivered almonds, and unsweetened coconut. They turned out delicious. I'm looking forward to fall when I'll be making a pie now and then, giving me the opportunity to make these again.

The second time I made these, I had some white chocolate, peppermint candy bars in the freezer that I had purchased when they went on sale after the Christmas season, I chopped some up and mixed with the same mixture, they were delicious.
