Ours was rather quiet, but nice. I really missed having my kiddos here, but knowing they were safe and sound, enjoying their day in their own ways was rewarding enough.
I made a small dinner for the two of us, it was delicious. It's hard to make all the things that make Thanksgiving dinner special when there are only two people., so pretty much just the basics.
A recipe popped up on Pinterest that I thought was interesting, just had to make it, with a name like "Frog Eye Salad" how can you not. It turned out to be so good. I halved the ingredients and so glad I did, even that made a nice size bowl full.
You can find the recipe here: http://www.yummyhealthyeasy.com/2013/04/frog-eye-fruit-salad.html

And then there is the traditional pumpkin pie. May be my favorite part of Thanksgiving, eating the pumpkin pie with fresh whipped cream and a latte.
