Delicious Roasted Red Pepper and Potato Soup

I made a new soup tonight. I found it here. It is so easy and so delicious! They had some beautiful fresh corn on the cob at the store today and I could not resist getting an ear for the soup.

The only changes I made were using chicken broth in place of vegetable broth. I added the kernels from one ear of corn, some dried parsley and dried basil. I also used small potatoes with the skin left on, gave it a really nice earthy flavor.
 It will be a regular this winter.
