Six-I'm thinkin more lazy than lonely, but maybe just cuz I'm tired. ~rick
nice capture ... it's so difficult to catch it so clearly ...
Great clear shot!I see the moon is smilling & contented to be alone without the stars... C*XO*
really good :)Violetcarsons.
OOh, squeals... I love that quote!DiThe Blue Ridge Gal
Beautiful moon...simply beautiful...the white lady of the night!
Gorgeous quote. It's a nice way to look at the sky. That shot is very pretty.
Slices of Beauty, I appreciate that@ thanks! xoxoRick, you may be right about that.:) I am sure it depends on our state of mind as to how we view all things.:) xoxonamaki, any good photo I get...purely accidental. :) xoxoLenore, seems to be very content without any company doesn't he/she. xoxoElianne, thank you! thanks for the visit! xoxoDi, you're so funny! just love your thinking. xoxoThe curious cat, definitely! xoxoMonica, I find the sky, the moon, the stars to be amazing. thanks. xoxo
The Moon Strikes Me As The Strong Silent Type
Tony, indeed. :) xoxo
The moon is a very romantic subject, replete with such poetic beauty!Btw, I'm loving your latest header image. Is the photo within it a shot of you? Do tell!
hey, sweetheart! how was the trip? i hope you guys had a wonderful time, entertaining and relaxing... i'm envious, it looked like it would be so much fun. the moon is so very romantic...and captivating. i am convinced our moods change with the moon. (mine does) :))yes, it is me in that photo.:)thanks for the visit today! i actually have a little more time to be on here today, not always the case.
Yes, the convention trip was a lot of fun! Entertaining (as always), but I wouldn't say that it was at all relaxing. In fact, I always have to take an extra day of vacation time from my day job, just so I can somewhat recover afterward. Four days of all that walking, and having to deal with those crowds is quite physically exhausting! Not to mention all of the socializing that's involved...Thank god, it's only once a year!Judging from that header photo, you are quite the pretty lady! What made you decide to sneak out of anonymity?
Anthony, I do know they can be exhausting! How many days did this one last? I went to several conventions while living in Europe, they were lots of fun...and exhaustin. My favorite part of the event was going out to eat with others at night - so much fun, always wonderful places. Good to hear you and Tommy had a great time. Man, he is one talented artist!!! (lol) I don't think I have been in hiding. I guess I am a little private. IRL, people just start asking me questions.:) Though I am pretty opinionated and do not have to be asked very often when it comes to political issues.:) Thanks so much for coming by to see me after you arrived home. Btw, are you an artist? xoxo
Hmmm. Between the gorgeous pic and your header, you have me humming "Blue Mooooon...you saw me standing alone..."
the moon does look lonely, but i suppose sometimes the stars steal it's glory. maybe it's happy to be the only shining thing in the sky?
To answer your question, Six, I would say that I am an artist in spirit more than I am in actual practice.Really, the more accurate term for me would probably be "artistic" because, while I do have a huge appreciation for art in all forms, I don't actually create much myself. I only dabble periodically with art projects, and when I do, they usually incorporate some form of collage.I can't draw or paint, like my husband can, so I have instead managed to develop a knack for the re-assemblage of existing imagery. I have a lot of fun with it, too! There's also my love for photography, but I don't tend to make much time for that anymore... :(
Linda, you're so witty.:) thanks for stopping by. xoxoChristina, you have a point. i think this is just how i will view a 'lonely' moon from now on.:) xoxoAnthony, I also do collages, and love doing them. Something about adding several different objects, pieces of this and that. and creating a visual picture is quite artistic. I can sense you are very creative. You're a wonderful writer!I'm going to try and get a post up before turning in for the night. :) Talk to you later. xoxo
Where are the stars anyone on such a clear night? Beautiful picture... love the moon against the dark blue sky.
John, I think they were playing games.:) Thanks for stopping by. xoxo
