what's your dance

"Stars" Maxfield Parrish
Whether your dance is the tango, hula, or one of your own creation, dancing life's dance begins with that first brave step. The music has always been playing your favorite tune, yet hearing it requires action. And right on cue, your unfailing partner, the Universe, begins choreographing players and events in a waltz of miracles, moving heaven and earth to align the future of your dreams with your present circumstances. Nothing is impractical, impossible, or out of reach. Your thoughts create worlds, your words shape the future, and the steps you take unleash the magic behind creation.
'Even More Notes From the Universe: Dancing Life's Dance' --Mike Dooley

It's not always easy to see it his way. But a good post.

If only it was THAT easy...

But I do like the sentiment, and that it's basically saying you need to participate in the creation of your own future.

I'm really digging the new look! Was putting the side imagery on the page very tricky? I want to put something down the left side of my page, but haven't begun to tackle it! And I like how pieces of it spill onto the center section, along with shadows. The actual images you've chosen are nice, too! Love the colors.

I'm so glad to hear your niece is on the mend, however slow. She's just going to need to dance a very leisurely waltz for awhile, until she has the strength to do the quickstep. ;)

Minka, you're so right, it's not. Thanks for stopping in. xoxo

Lenore, thanks so much for the compliment. The page reflects my mood right now.:)) Hey, I want to watch if you do the belly dance.:) I'm not so good at that dance.:(
Have a beautiful week!! xoxo

Jenean, thank you! I'm glad you like the look.:) Yes, it does ring true...just trying to see life on a more positive note.:) thanks for stopping by. xoxo

Gail, Me too!:) I'm working on that part of it. I do believe there is power in our thinking and in our words. xoxo

Shopgirl, thanks! I figure everyone can use inspiration anytime. xoxo

Anthony, I know, if only... I am not a positive thinker or believer by nature. I'm more of a Poe type personality. I do believe we have power within us to make or break our world by the way we think and the words we speak. Just finding the positive course is the better way to go, I'm sure. Now...if I can just find the path and stay on it.:))
Sweetheart, I wish I had been the designer of this beautiful and creative page, but not so. If you go to the upper left corner of my page and click on the link, it will take you to the fabulous designer. Her work is so creative...and so fabulously creative!!!
You're right about my niece, she has a slow dance going on at this time.
Thanks for stopping by, sweet guy! xoxo

Oh yes!!! I love your new page. Thanks for stopping by to see the new construction at my place, too. Yes---we creative types barely let the ink set and we're off in a new paint bucket, splashing color everywhere.

You know I love Max, too. Genius!!! And now i will have to check out the book you quoted from. Another addiction...could be worse. ;-)

Thank you for another lovely post.

Lillie Diane, ((LOL)) You're so right about that ink setting. I am really good or bad, however, you want to see it, at changing everything. I've been this way all my life, no intentions of changing now.:) I really like my page right now, so just maybe...I'll leave it for a time.

Do check out Mike Dooley. I love the way he thinks, and his advice is worth taking. I'm not really good at the positive thinking thing, but I'm trying to work on it. :) He has a website, I'll look it up and get the link to you.

xoxo

Little Jewelry Box, I appreciate the visit. Of course, following each other would be great. xo

Hi Linda, I do adore the way blogs reflect the personality and mood of a person. Shows that mine changes...and quite frequently, huh.:) A dance of any kind is a dreamy thought today. xoxo

Red ticking, Ah, thank you! xo
