a woman of courage and strength

I believe we will see a new star in the skies tonight, one that shines brighter than the rest. I admired, loved and adored Elizabeth Edwards so very much. In my opinion, she did not have to leave the earth to live with the stars and become an angel; she was an angel while she walked this earth. She was a woman who fought for those less fortunate, healthcare for all, children, women, and education...you name it she fought for it.

She did not lose. She WON!!

The world will miss her. Most of all, her family will miss her.

I couldn't stop sobbing while watching the tribute to Elizabeth on the news tonight; she was an inspiration. How wonderful the reunion with her son in heaven today must have been.

Laurie, same with me, I couldn't stop the tears. While cooking dinner tonight, I was also thinking about her reunion with her son. Thank you for stopping by and for your kind and loving thoughts.

I couldn't agree more. This lady deserved a better hand than she was dealt, but she handled it all gracefully and with tact and courage.

Some lovely comments have already said what must be true, and I don't believe I have anything to add. However, not to bring this into shallow waters, but this photograph is truly beautiful!
