Pefect Day

It's one of those days...when everything feels and looks perfect. Considering I spent some of the day yesterday in the basement praying that none of the sighted tornadoes would touch down, today feels amazing. All the flowers and greenery seem to be thankful also, appearing bright and perky today. I am doing a little dance that my "little" pond is so crystal clear today, something I crave. Just maybe...I have found a filter system that is working. The fish seem to be doing well, and this is no small thing.:)

My prayers go out to all who have been affected by the horrible storms

Love your photos. And so glad to hear that you are safe and sound. Too many storms ravaging places. Happy to hear you were blessed with a lovely day. :)

Wonderful photos of a beautiful pond.

I use a submersial pump sitting among pumice rock in a five gallon bucket drilled with holes. As the water passes through the holes and through the rocks, the water is filtered and cleared...then you just pull it out and rinse the rocks.

Slices of Beauty, thank you. I really do enjoy it...when it looks like it is supposed to.:) Have a wonderful weekend.xOx

Sophia, thank you very much! Yes...too many bad storms this year. I hope the worst is behind us. Wishing you a wonderful blessed weekend, sweetie! xOx

Gail, Thanks. I am using a pump with a piece of thick foam. It is working great so far. If it stops, I'm going to try your idea.:) The water was black when I started, have taken the foam out once and washed it, it needs washed again (this weekend.) I can't believe it has worked so well...just hope it continues. Happy weekend to you!

Ladycat, glad you enjoyed...and that the pics brightened your day. We all need ALL the sunshine we can get. Happy weekend to you. xOx

Carolyn, my little piece of Heaven is really nice since everything else is around me is concrete and parking lots.:) Now...if only my fish stay alive.:) Happy weekend! xOx

Such beautiful pictures!! I can see why you are so delighted to see the clarity of your pond! :) I'm glad you were physically unaffected by the tornadoes - I have a Facebook friend who is in South Dakota and experiencing flooding. So many people experiencing Nature's wrath these days :( Like you, it makes me all the more thankful that I am unaffected so far. I hope you have a great rest of your weekend!
