Humility

My Roses have started blooming.

For some reason, my photos will NOT post in the order I post them - Blogger seems to have a mind of its own tonight.

I found this postcard a few years ago and loved the peaceful message; I framed it so I could read it often. Even though I don't do so well at living the message, I like reading it and thinking that some day...I'll do better. The other photos are some I have taken the past couple of days; I thought they were fitting for this post.

One of the liitle ones - I'm in love with them. He or she was hanging out in this flower pot this morning, while mom was waiting for her food.

That is the best and most untainted description of Humility I have ever read! I have heard too many other versions that have literally made the word put a bad taste in my mouth. This was wonderful, thank you :)

Hi Adrielle! I am thrilled you enjoyed this one...you can copy the photo and print it out. I should do this myself, so it would be handy whenever I need to read it. May you have a wonderful and blessed weekend, beautiful. xOx

Thanks for becoming a supporter of my Blog... and now I'm delighted to have been able to connect in order to discover your beautiful Blog and the magnificent photography!!! That photo of the kitten in the flowerpot is superb, I LOVE it!!! What a precious shot... I just lost my Beloved Fur Baby Kitty that I'd had 20 years, she passed last Saturday and it has left such a huge void... so precious kitty shots are drawing me in right now! I love the name of your Blog... I think I have an old sixpence piece... my GranGran (North Wales) used to give me old coins when I was younger and my fav coin is an Angelsy Mines coin that is so elaborate and was a day's wages in the 1600's! (Might have spelled Angelsy wrong??? winks)

Hello Dawn! thank you for your lovely comment. I am so sorry to hear about you kitty. I am a lover of animals, babies, and nature - these are the things that make sense to me.:)

I love Phoenix. Arizona is a beautiful state. One of my favorite places is Sedona, and I think I could really enjoy living there. However, I lived in Germany for 10 years, and my heart belongs to Europe now - I love the people, their way of life, the way they think. :) I hope to move back there one day.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit. Please come back again.

Your roses are beautiful. We have 2 rose bushes in our yard at our new house. We found our house in the winter, so all the beautiful flowers are a complte surprise this spring.
The postcard is so comforting. I am going to take you up on your offer to copy & print it. Thank you!
And the kitten in the vase is perfection. His or her fur matches the vase perfectly and the pose is so perfect. Like I said a perfect moment in time : )

Ladycat, that must be fun, watching to see what emerges. I've been planting new stuff this year; I can't seem to get enough of the outdoors this spring and summer. So glad you liked the postcard, and be my guest at printing it out. It's a joy to post something and it touch another soul. The kittens are just too cute - I could watch them every minute of the day, if only they would stay out. They seem to come out more in the evening and night. I saw them nursing from their mom tonight; they aren't weaned, yet.

Have a great week!
