Daily Miracle

When I see something amazing, I think it is a sign of good things to come, at least it gives me hope that a miracle is on its way. A double-bloom flower was my sign today - one stem, a perfect bloom on each side of the stem.

“Love works in miracles every day: such as weakening the strong, and strengthening the weak; making fools of the wise, and wise men of fools; favouring the passions, destroying reason, and in a word, turning everything topsy-turvy.”  ~Marguerite De Valois

“Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?”
 ~Henry David Thoreau

“Miracles are not contrary to nature, but only contrary to what we know about nature.”  ~Saint Augustine

“The child must know that he is a miracle, that since the beginning of the world there hasn't been, and until the end of the world there will not be, another child like him.”  ~Pablo Casals

“Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story which is written across the whole world in letters too large for some of us to see.”  ~C.S. Lewis

Hello Carolyn! Happy you enjoy the post. This is not a sunflower, not sure what the name of the plant is. I will look it up, though. I planted these from seed this year and they went crazy wild.:)
Wishing you a beautiful week!

Gail, she always outdoes herself, in a great way, too. :) Thanks for your visit.
A happy new week to you.

Adriell, nature is so worthy of our admiration. If only humans would respect her more and take better care of her, she would give us all we need.
Happy new week to you!
