You can never tell what people have inside them until you start taking it away, one hope at a time. ~Shantaram

The photo is amazing. The quote is so true, but sad. When a hope is taken away, we try to shift everything to fill that hole, but it isn't possible.

magnificent image just perfect for these beautiful words - yes, the skeleton of what was after each tiny sliver of hope is plucked away - leaving only the slight reflection of gnawed bone gleaming in the moonlight -

Hi Becky ~ Thanks so much for your lovely visits. Have a beautiful week! xOx

LadyCat, thank you! I think that was the last hollyhock photo for this year.
It's so true, filling some holes cannot be filled. Sometimes, hope is all that is left and when it is gone, there isn't much left.
Wishing you a beautiful week ahead!

Gypsywoman, a beautiful and poetic comment. I wish I knew what I believed these days. I swear, the older I get the more confused I am about what I believe and about life. I keep trying to believe in magic, just need a spark of magic to happen. :) Wishing you, my lovely friend a special week ahead. xOx

hello dear lady - it's after midnight here and i am wide awake - it's been pouring down rain and i was looking forward to bed and the sound of pouring rain on the roof but, alas, it seems to have stopped for a while just as i'm ready for it to dance a bit more - in any event - had you on my mind and just wanted to say hello - hugs -
