Seeing is believing

"Whatever the reason for wanting to escape, sane or insane, zoo detractors should realize that animals don't escape to somewhere but from something."  Life of Pi - Yann Martel

The cardinals were plentiful yesterday, filling the trees with beauty. Even though I have bird feeders up, I don't get a lot of different birds, too many businesses and too many parking lots around. It was delightful to watch them.

Happy Friday!

He is so beautiful...great photo!
This spring we had a nest of baby cardinals in the wreath that hangs on our front door. We stopped using the front door until they flew the nest, because we didn't want to scare them.
The bright red is so pretty against the blue sky in your photo.

Gorgeous photo! I love cardinals. They looks so beautiful in winter, too, against the white snow.
