the little artist

I love it, my little artist at work. One of her Christmas presents and she is having so much fun with it.

I am an artist...I am here to live out loud.

Meet Lulu...the rag doll I made for Ada. Lulu is all snuggled up with her blanket I made for her. We're so excited, Ada loves her. In case you are wondering what sort of vehicle she is riding in...well, it is a high tech doll stroller. What? Who knew?

There is something special about a child that loves handmade gifts.

I am so excited to hear of all the adventures Lulu and Ada will have.
I'm thinking I should call her mom right now and remind her to document all of their outings.

Hobbes and LuLu have become instant friends. Good thing, they are living together in the same house.

She looks like a true artist...love the painting she is working on. And Lulu is so cute. The name Lulu is very special to me.

Ladycat, she is. :) I informed her today that I need a masterpiece to hang in the living room.

Her mother named everything when she was a kid, still does. :) When Ada's dad ask her what the dolls name was, Ada said "girl", that's her name. Her mom says "I think her name is LuLu". Ada thought that was a fine name.:) She is getting another one next week on her brother's birthday. I think her mom has a name chosen for her already.

Nyssa, she is an AWESOME little girl!!! If only we never had to grow up...the world would be a kinder and gentler place to live in. I have to give my daughter and son-in-law credit, they do an awesome job of parenting. There's something to be said about not be a teenage mother, she has it so much more together than I ever did. I'm so very proud of her.

Wishing you a beautiful weekend ahead, sweetie.
