alone, naturally...

My little postage stamp size yard was left to take care of itself this summer. From the 1st day of June until the 10th of September, I spent every day at the hospital. I missed working in my yard, watching the flowers bloom...but it fared very well. I like the way the ivy has found its own path, the way it looks so natural. I have hopes that next summer will be sweeter.

The little frogs no longer sit on their perch on top the pond, the base broke and they can no longer sit. Love the weathered and age look, they have aged quite nicely, I do think.:-) I have a soft spot for broken, cracked, and worn items...

I guess I missed something ... every day at the hospital? Sorry to hear that. :(

I love the little frogs, though. So cute. Do you think you can fix them somehow? :)

I still have an idea of learning about gardening someday ... somewhere in the back of my head ... :) I'll have to start soon.

Hi Poppy! It was a long summer.:(

I don't think I'll put them back in the pond, I think they might just crack and break off. They just be decorative in a flower pot from now on.:) They're too cute for words.

Some of my stuff actually seem to thrive without care. I didn't plant any flowers this year since I didn't have time to care for them. Gardens as pretty as they are, are a lot of work - Good for the soul, though. :)

Thanks for stopping by. *hUgS*

So sorry about having to spend the summer in the hospital. Hope everything's ok! And I actually really like the yard the way it is, it looks so wild and rustic. Pretty!

It wasn't me in the hospital, it was a family member.:(

Like you, I like the wild and frenzy look.:) Next year I do a little more gardening, hopefully. I can't do much since I live in the city and do not have much of a yard...which can be a nice thing at times, like when I didn't have time to take care of it over the summer.

Have a wonderful weekend, city girl! *hUgS*
