time for coffee

Obviously Mother Nature is not aware that it is spring. She dumped a little snow on us yesterday and last night. It's nothing big; it's more the cold issue that is bothering me. Anything below 75 is cold to me these days. So, my prescription for cold is a delicious cup of French press coffee, curling up on the sofa, and a stack of magazines to thumb through. It's the first day this week there has not been a doctor's app. or hospital visit. I'm not feeling extremely energetic, so going to take it slow this afternoon and maybe, the energy will start flowing by evening.

I hope everyone is having a lovely week, and will enjoy a beautiful weekend ahead.

I'm not a coffee drinker but that picture made me want to be.

Thanks, Gail. I probably drink enough for the both of us. :) I would give up eating before I would give up coffee. I have a daughter who is the same way about tea. David was never a coffee drinker until we moved to Europe, now he really likes it but can't have it due to his heart condition.

Happy and wonderful weekend to you.

Your coffee looks delicious! I am a coffee drinker too. For my birthday recently my husband gave me the Verismo Starbucks espresso machine and I love it! But your French press coffee looks so much more authentic.
Sorry about your bad weather. We are predicted to get a snow storm starting tomorrow. Ugh! Enjoy your weekend.

Our husbands must think alike, my husband bought me one from Starbucks a couple of years ago, but I made him return it cause I didn't feel like we could afford it. :) I've wished many times that I had kept it. I love my French press coffee, but sometimes I just want to make a simple cup of coffee.

Yes, we are apparently getting a snow storm today and tomorrow, supposed to get 6-12" today. Where is spring??? I need it now! :)

Have a wonderful weekend!
