What I've Been Doing

Finally finished up with a few projects that have been on-going for a while now. It feels good to complete some. I'm good at starting things, but once I get interrupted, I find it hard to pick it back up. I'd rather start something new? I'm sure there is a deep-seeded meaning for this, I just do not know what it is.

I just love this one, made it using up some scrap yarn. Can't wait to wear it.

Wrist cuffs, using different vintage buttons. I made this pattern up as I went. Wishing now that I had written down the pattern, so when I want to make more. I'm so 'bad' at doing this, thinking...I'll remember that. I never do. :(
Love these, though, and look forward to wearing them this fall and winter.

I started out making this one to sell, but they yarn was not that great once I started crocheting with it, too many knots. :(
Maybe the inspection team was napping?
Anyway, I love it for myself and will enjoy the comfort and softness of wearing this one.

Oh my, this is so nice! I am debating on whether to keep this one or sell it, I just love the colors and the feel of this one. It is super soft and comfy, super big. It reminds me of the sea. :)

Another one I am debating of selling or keeping. I had made this some time ago, when I wore it to work, a lady bought it off my shoulders. :) It is so bright and fun. I was thrilled when I found enough of this yarn in my stash to make another.

Another multi-color, no pattern (my favorite kind) of scarf.

A couple purses I made for my little Ada. She picked the yarn for the first one. Her bd is coming up, I will make her a necklace and ankle bracelet to put inside. She has a couple of these I made her some time ago, just now getting into carrying them.

Coffee cozy I made for my french press, keeping coffee warm longer. Love it!

I do make things and sell them - if you are interested in anything, let me know and I'll be glad to create something for you.

Random Things To Love

You'll see it
when you believe it!

Doesn't this look refreshing!?

LIVE!!!

I love everything about this look - ROMANTIC.

If I was to get a tattoo...this would be it. I am 99.9% sure I will not, too chicken. :)

Could you live with these walls? I could...I think. :)

A Little Bohemian Style

I love Bohemian style, clothes and decor - I find it unpretentious...and freeing. The look doesn't have to be expensive, and includes mostly recycled things to be a true Bohemian. :) ...something I like very much.

A bohemian hideout. I would love to have this space...a little nook to dream, read, and escape from reality.

Love each and all of these!

YES PLEASE!

Love the look.

Especiall love the room divider made from silk scarves.

The quilt is so me, I have a similar one on my bed that I made.

I'm in Love

I am seriously in love with all these things...

Oh my goodness...this is the most awesome dresser. I am in love.

What's not to love!? I am going to make the curtains. I looked for them on Anthropologie, couldn't find them. I'm thinking of making a shower curtain in this design. My want-to-make list is getting so darn long.

Pink and Orange (Happy Colors)

Pink and Orange are so pretty together. Here are a few things to please the eyes...

I would so love to have this outfit.

Love!!!

This was the color of my house in Germany. It was awesome to live in a pink house. The door wasn't pink. One of the many things I loved about living in Europe, the colorful homes.

I've had a couple of VW Bugs, but never had an orange one. I think I need one.

Wouldn't it be fun to eat at this table!? I think so.

And how gorgeous is this?

Love of Chocolate

I am so coveting this dress. Thumbing through a magazine while sitting at the hospital yesterday, I came across this and now, I am on the hunt for this fabric or similar fabric so I can make this dress. It almost has a polyester look to it, don't you think?

Photo from Call Me Cupcake (great blog!)

OH YES!!! I'm going to be making this soon. I make a lot of meringue desserts, love them. I really should stop looking at food on these wonderful blogs. All I want to do is cook and EAT! My will power/self-discipline is wearing thin.

I LOVE!!!

purses made from recycled fabric

There are days when I love RED everything, it's one of my favorite colors. More often than not, when I find anything red at the thrift shops I buy...as I did with this red fabric I made the red and green purse from. At one time, this red purse was a chair cushion. :)

GREEN purse was once a piece of sample fabric.

Mario Testino Photography {Kate Winslet}

Kate Winslet happens to be one of my favorite actresses! I love her look and her style and…ninety-nine percent of the time, I love her movies.
Mario Testino captured perfection in the way only he can do. Not being a big fan of the camera myself, never was, probably never will be, I think I would enjoy being photographed by him.

Love Those HOLEY Jeans

OMG~~~I LOVE THESE!

By the time I can no longer wear my jeans, they are usually strings connected to each other with no fabric left by the time I can give in and stop wearing them. Well, that or be arrested for wearing them out in public. The more age they have on them, the more worn out they are, and the more holes they have...the more I LOVE them!!! I never buy new jeans! I know some in my own family who love to wear only new jeans, not my thing. My favorite place to find jeans are at Thrift Stores, Goodwill Stores, etc. And if they have holes, it is a sure thing I'll buy them.
